Born in 1984 in Turlock, California, Carly's musical journey began at age 6, performing with her family along the West Coast. At 16, she taught guitar and ukulele at a music camp in Alaska while exploring the folk and bluegrass scene. She later moved to Hawaii, reconnecting with her musical cousins and joining The Girlas, a collective of six singer-songwriters. Their debut album, Now or Never, was released in 2006, featuring collaborations with artists like Jack Johnson and Eddie Vedder. In 2019, Carly released her solo EP, Time Passes By, and is currently working on a country album with award-winning producer Imua Garza.
